DAY 1: TANGIER:
Our desert trip from Tangier starts after pick up from your hotel or airport, we explore the city and best sights. Overnight in comfortable riad.
DAY 2: TANGIER -
Today we drive to the little town of Chefchaouen, which is known for its fortifications. The architecture of Chefchaouen is distinctive, and every house in the city is painted a different shade of blue. It is widely considered to be one of the most attractive cities in the Rif Mountains' northern region. Spend the night in the city of Chefchaouen.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN -
Our journey will continue the next morning as we make our way to Fes, which is the oldest imperial city in all of Morocco. As we make our way to Ifrane and the vast cedar forests on the route to Midelt for the night, we will pass through the city and stop to take in the many sites along the way.
DAY 4: MIDELT -
We will journey through the northern part of the Atlas mountains and go through the valley of the river Ziz. Along the way, we will make many pauses to take in the breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, and amazing sceneries. On our way to the desert city of Sahara Merzouga, which is located to the east, we will go through the city of Er Rachidia. We will spend the night in a hotel that is conveniently located next to the large dunes of Erg Chebbi. From the hotel, you will have easy access to the nearby smaller dunes, which you are free to explore on foot.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION:
We will proceed on a journey around Erg Chebbi. While there, we will visit a home and listen to some Gnawa music, which is traditionally played in Ghana and Sudan. A few deserted mines, nomadic Berbers, and a palm oasis are on the itinerary for today. After having lunch and taking some time to relax, we made our way back to Merzouga, where our camels were patiently awaiting our arrival so that they could take us on an excursion across the sand dunes. We will spend the night at a camp in the center of the Sahara that is furnished with music from drums; this is an excellent chance to snap stunning photographs of the sunset and dawn; after we arrive at the camp, we will head to the high dunes to witness the sunset. Tents typical of nomads will serve as our lodging for the night.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA -
The fifth day of the trip begins in MERZOUGA and ends in FES with spectacular dawn views across the Sahara desert, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel and breakfast. We got our trip going in the right direction. After a lengthy ride back from the desert, we will stop for the night in Fes and take in the sights and sounds of the city.
DAY 7: FES -
After breakfast, departure to Tangier and transfer to your accommodation or the port of Tangier, as well as the conclusion of our services.
