We drive to the Atlas Mountains through Ifrane, also known as Morocco's Switzerland. We'll also visit a cedar grove in the Atlas Mountains, where you may see indigenous monkeys. We'll proceed to Azrou, a classic Berber settlement, and then to Midelt, which is famed for its minerals. We will next drive down the Ziz Valley, stopping to see fossils at Erfoud before reaching the Sahara Desert. We will arrive in Merzouga, where you will ride camels to our desert camp.
